I founded Coaching Oxford in 2011 and have over 18 years’ experience providing coaching and mentoring both within organisations and independently.
Coaching Style
I help individuals identify their key strengths and their top priorities for action. I see coaching as a process which enables the client to develop self-management tactics and tap into their own key motivators. It can also help to overcome emotional blocks/obstacles to progress or change. I am committed to upholding the person-centred principles of coaching which rely on honesty, and mutual respect. With extensive commercial and third sector experience I have gained a wealth of knowledge and adopt an empathetic yet practical approach to my work. I bring a balance of challenge and empathy to the coaching experience.

Background
I am an accomplished research professional who’s track record spans over 16 years working for large research agencies including NOP and GfK (now part of Ipsos MORI). Prior to entering the world of research, I worked in operational management roles in the hospitality and leisure sectors. Alongside Coaching Oxford I ran my own purpose-led research business, Research Oxford, for 11 years and continue to undertake some freelance research consultancy.
During my time in the corporate sector I worked with a large portfolio of clients from financial, retail, leisure, transport, automotive, charity and government sectors including Argos, ASDA, easyJet, O2, Greene King, Royal Bank of Scotland, National Trust and London Underground. As a Commercial Director at GfKNOP, I led teams through the design, implementation, reporting and analysis of numerous research projects delivering strategically focused, actionable recommendations. In setting up Research Oxford I focused on working with charities and social enterprises.
I have delivered a number of guest lectures for Oxford Brookes University, University of Portsmouth and UCL and in my spare time I enjoy cycling, walking, motorcycling and engaging with my local community.
